Why do some American people abhor “real” wine?
I don’t get it. Wine has been a staple of humanity since jabba the cave man discovered fermented fruits yeild an intoxicating beverage. Jesus drank wine. Still, I am the only one in my circle of friends that seeks out, and drinks good red wines. They consider wine to be “Abor Mist” or “Boone Farms”. That is GARBAGE!!! I give them a taste of the real stuff, and they waste my fine elixir and utter blasphemies about it!! They say it’s nasty, or sour. What the hell? When did these little feloious wine substitutes get so much credit as “wine”? Women for the most part these days, seem unable to drink anything unless it’s doused in a sickening fruit flavor and splashed with neon colored fake fruit juice. What ever happened to the wine lovers? Am I alone?

I am right there with you, girlfriend. I LOVE red wine. I have 3-4 glasses most every night, do you think that is too much? I have converted about 3 of my friends, though. Now they don’t drink anything else. I hate those Foo-Foo drinks. Wine Rocks!!!
