What I cook with a left over Bordeaux Red Wine?
I have a half a bottle of left over 2005 Bordeaux from two days ago. Apparently I don’t want to drink this but don’t want to throw it away..Can I possibly cook anything with this? I have 2 lbs of chicken and 2lbs of Beef Brisket and some veggies.
Does anyone have any recipes?
Two days? Drink it!! I drink leftover wine for 3-4 days. You’ll know when it no longer tastes appealing, then you can still cook with it.
Since you won’t have as much at that point, a good use is to cook up some mushrooms with a little garlic and shallots, throw in the red wine and a splash of balsamic vinegar, cook it down a little and serve it with a steak.
