I was just wondering what you guys think this song is trying to say? The song is ‘Boy with a Coin’ by Iron And Wine. The lyrics are below, if you haven’t listened to the song before go to youtube and give it a listen, i’m interested to hear what you guys think.
LYRICS:

well im guessing that the bird flying into the girl’s skirt thing seems to be about rape and pregnancy, or at least pregnancy. and the guy sounds like he is confused and that he wants god to get him on the right path or something. or it soudns like one of those people who goes and kills a bunch of people and then kills himself. like maybe god was watching him and then he left so he couldnt help him. or something.
