can I use a red or white cooking wine instead of cabernet sauvignon? If so which one white or red? ?
I am making a marinade for steak.
Select a good quality wine, one that you would also enjoy drinking. Do not use wines labeled as “cooking wines”. These are typically located in the seasoning aisle of the grocery store and tend to be extremely salty. They will not add to the quality of your meal.
