Is the Food Network Magazine good?

I want to get my boyfriend a subscription to a food magazine for Christmas. We are in college, so he is no major chef or anything, but he likes to cook and really likes wine. And he is obsessed with the Food Network and many of the chefs on it. Is the Food Network Magazine a good choice? I thought he might like to read the recipes by the people he watches regularly. Or, should I stick with something like Food & Wine or Bon Appetit if they are better? Thanks

why not

but he would use a cook book more

the magazine may be read just once

You have had a tax cut – now what should you do with it ?
