Red Wine Bordeaux

How long can you keep an open bottle of wine?
I have a 5 liters bottle of red wine (Bordeaux) which I would like to open but probably will take a couple of weeks to finish. If I store it in the fridge, will it be OK for that long?
Not very long really for best flavor. As long as it’s not for company and if you’re not real fussy, 2 weeks will be okay. Ordinarilly that would be a little over the limit.
Keep in mind, old wine that isn’t fit for drinking, is NOT fit for cooking!
