Wine Making Homebrew question?

I am making wine in my school locker for a bet (dont ask) anyway, the wine has gone cloudy with yeast after about a week and a half, and i was wondering what i should do to make it go clear before I drink it. £200 quid is riding on this, so an answer would be helpful. btw, i made it really slap-dash, i basically used a Powerade Bottle (one with a sports cap) filled it with grape juice from a carton, added loads of extra sugar, and added a spoonful of brewers yeast.

Disclaimer: if this is illegal where you are or you are too young (not of legal drinking age)…my advice is to stop immediately and get rid of the experiment…don’t worry about the money. If you get busted…it will most likely suck big time. It is not worth it.

But if it is cool where you are…then there are lots of ways to clarify…but since this is not a fine wine and you are doing this in a locker..here are two easy fixes.

#1. pour through a sterile paper coffee filter and collect in a sterile container. Then give it another week to settle.

#2. mix a little unflavored gelatin into hot (NOT BOILING) water. Like a 1/4 tsp to a cup, then just put a couple tsps. in… pour this lightly into the beverage you have made…the gelatin water will drag the cloudy stuff down as it settles on the bottom, thus clarifying your stuff.
