Types Of Wine Coolers
I have a question concerning drinking in Israel?
In Israel what type of wine coolers or “alcopops” are there.
also when it comes to wine in Israel are there special terms to distinguish between types of wines.
you see im going to israel with birthright on 10th of January (yay two more weeks to go!!!!)
im 20 so ive never bought alcohol in the US the drinking age is 18 in isreal so im going to get a chance to get a drink or two during the trip ( only one a night im a lightweight)
so im wondering do they have any equivelants to stuff like mikes hard lemonade or other wine-coolers.

Some here said that Israel is going to raise the drinking age to 21 let me tell you that it’ll never happen, since people are drfted to the army at the age of 18 as well the drinking age will be the same (trust me I work in the press so I know some politicians who said they won’t raise the drinking age because of that reason)…
Here there are many many kinds of alcohol, beers from all over Europe especially Germany and Netherlands (it’s just close) – as to the alcopops it depends where you buy it, some bring very different kinds of alcopops… the most common are Bacardi Breezer and Smirnoff ice but there are some others, if you go to Tel Aviv or Eilat (the most touristic cities besides Jerusalem) walk into a bar, in Tel Aviv there are so many bars open almost all night and ask what they’ve got, there’s a good chance they’ll have more then what I’ve mentioned.
